Upcoming Meetings and Events

Hi everyone,

I hope to see many of you tomorrow in Monticello, FL at the Florida State Beekeepers Association year end meeting. It should be a fun and interesting event.

OBBA's next meeting will be Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Azalea Room. The kids from Full Sail University will be showing the beekeeping documentary they filmed. It stars David Webb, Beth Fox, Chris Stalder and Paul Allison, among others. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

We have new nominees for officers and will vote on them at this meeting as well. They are:

President - David Webb
Vice-President - Chris Stalder
Secretary - Michelle Keefer

If anyone wants to oppose these members, please submit your name either to me via email or at the meeting in November. Paul Allison will remain Treasurer.

There will be no raffle at the November 19 meeting, Paul will not be attending.

For December we will be having our Annual Pot Luck Christmas party. Start thinking about what you are going to bring. We will need paper products and cups and utensils as well. The club will provide a honey baked spiral ham.
